  • Content: The module consists of several independent lectures with topics covering applications of computer vision and machine learning methods in visual intelligence. The lecture An introduction to Iris Recognition introduces students to the topics of biometrics and iris recognition in particular, presenting the classical processing chain (segmentation, feature extraction, matching) in iris recognition, as an example where intelligent computer vision techniques are employed.
